I got some bad news today
Due to the economic slow down next week I might be getting laid off from my job. I have been with the company almost 15yrs. I started out union ,Did that then I got promoted to supervisor 3 yrs ago. I was told the layoff would be temporary but I have never seen a company person brought back after bieng laid off. I don't know yet what Michelle and I will do jobs are so hard to come by nowadays. All I can do is hope for the best.

I feel for you my friend ... I am being bombed by this economy as well. My job is a contract type, and I went from way to much work to people fighting for what is now available. My hours have been chopped in two, and some weeks have been near dead.
I would do anything to see free market "FREE" again. It is what made our country great ... and that is being lost.
Best wishes to you, and I understand your stress ... every day. We still have prayer, and that may be very important right now.
